At Camp Kirchenwald 

The following types of accommodation are available. Please note that Schreiber House must be booked in advance. All other accommodations are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Adirondack

These are three-sided shelters (8 shelters total) with 6 cots in each. Bring sleeping bag/pillow or twin sheets/blanket/pillow. Showers and toilet facilities nearby.

Bear’s Den

Sleeps 10 with two full bathrooms. Beds are made and towels are available. Includes a full kitchen. The Bear’s Den fills quickly as it is also the primary accommodation for the members of the planning committee.

Cabins

There are 4 large (10 people) and 4 small (4 people) cabins with spring cots with camp mattresses. Bring sleeping bag/pillow or twin sheets/blanket/pillow. Showers and toilet facilities are a short walk away; bring your own towel and personal wash items.

Myers

Sleeps 20 in dormitory-style bunkbeds (only counting the lower bunks). Bring sleeping bag/pillow or twin sheets/blanket/pillow. Includes male and female side bathrooms with toilet stalls and two showers.

SchreiberHaus

There are 10 private rooms with their own bathroom. There are 9 four-person rooms that have two ground-level double beds and two upper bunks, requiring a ladder climb. One room can accommodate up to 3 people and has 2 ground-level beds: 1 double bed and one ground-level bottom bunk, twin bed and an upper twin bunk requiring a ladder climb. Linens provided.

Please note: Schreiber Haus must be booked in advance. Notifications go out around May of each year for that year’s reunion.

Tent/RV

There are many lovely areas throughout the camp to pitch your own tent or park your RV/camper. You can use the shower and toilet facilities available to cabin and Adirondack guests. For RVs/campers there is only one electrical hook up near the pool. The pool area has two bathrooms with showers, indoor and outdoor.

Wittel Farm 

Please Note: Wittel Farm is not available in 2025.

This restored farmhouse is about 10 miles – a 20-minute drive – from the main camp. There are 5 bedrooms: 4 rooms with 1 double bed each and 1 bedroom with twin beds. There is one bathroom. There are meeting rooms and a kitchen, and linens are provided. All bedrooms are upstairs.

There are several hotels within a short drive from Camp Kirchenwald. This is just a sampling of what’s available. The reunion is held on a holiday weekend, so please book as early as you can.
